Over the last 25 years Mike McNamee has pioneered the field of sports ethics.   A former President of the International Association of the Philosophy of Sport, Founding Chair of the British Philosophy of Sport Association, and Founding Vice Chair of the European Philosophy of Sport Association.  He has served on the Executive Committees of the International Council for Sport Science and Physical Education, the European College of Sport Science, and the British Philosophy of Education Society.  He holds, or has held, visiting professorships is China, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal and Switzerland. He is Chair of WADAs Ethics Expert Group.
