On December 10th, 2014 the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi will host an open lecture of the international consultant Richard Cregan, CEO of Rasgaira, the international events management company that provides consulting support to Sochi Autodrom for the Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix. Richard Cregan’s lecture “Build locally, expand globally” will be dedicated to reviewing the first ever Formula 1 Russian Grand Prix as a successful experience of organising a world-class sporting event. The event will be held in the framework of partnership between Sochi Autodrom and RIOU that implies cooperation in the field of common information and educational platform creation for training and involving new staff in motorsport events’ organisation. During the Russian Grand Prix in October 2014, the first traineeship for RIOU students took place according to the programme elaborated by RIOU professors together with Sochi Autodrom’s specialists.
