Gavernance
The highest governing body of the RIOU Endowment Fund is the Board, which acts as a collegiate body.
The Board takes the decision to form the endowment, sets direction, determines priority areas of work for the Fund and formulates guidelines for creating and using its assets, etc.
The General Director is the permanent sole executive body of the RIOU Endowment Fund.
The General Director organises the Fund's work to achieve its objectives; represents the Fund in its relations with the federal and regional authorities and organisations; implements the decisions of the Board and the Board of Trustees made within their area of responsibility; and bears personal responsibility, within his/her area of competence, for ensuring that the Fund's property and assets are used in compliance with the Fund's charter objectives.
The General Director is appointed by the Board and is answerable to it.
The Board of Trustees oversees activities of the Fund, decisions made by other bodies of the Fund and their implementation, use of endowment assets, and the Fund's compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
The Board of Trustees consists of representatives of the Endowment Fund; representatives of endowment beneficiaries; donors (or their representatives); and citizens and representatives of legal persons who are recognised for their special contribution to society and/or achievements in the fields relevant to the Fund's objectives.
